How Are you Feeling?.... No Really!

Hello Flower Tribe,

 

The question that stands today is how are you feeling? No, really. How are you?

 

For many, the pandemic  has opened a huge bag of anxiety and now even though there is ability to leave our homes,  the fear of our health and exposure is continuously looming. Nationally, racism and brutality are running rampant which has sent many people into a space of fear, anger and sadness. 

 

There's so many feelings to acknowledge, but the most important thing is to really allow yourself to acknowledge them.   If you are angry, be angry. If you are sad, be sad. Honor the feelings that are existent within you because by not saying them you are storing trauma in the body which can manifest itself in a number of ways. 

 

It is important to note that emotions stored in the body are communicated through the body as dis-ease. The body literally becomes uneasy by unaddressed emotions. Below are a few ways to support you in your self-care practices during these trying times.

 

Yoga is a great way to offer yourself self-love. Try these 3 yoga poses which are heart opening poses.
